Rocket League – Moist Esports & Endpoint CeX Roster Changes

Endpoint CeX has taken steps to improve their performance moving forward after having trouble in the first half of the 2022–23 season. Simas #simas Gurskis was released from the group, while Emre #emre Akbalik will join them for the Winter Split.

Meanwhile, Finlay #rise Ferguson left Moist Esports for Version 1, leaving them without a third player to round out their squad. Charles #juicy Sabiani will have the chance to play with Joe #Joyo Young and Mallo #AztraL Ernst in the #RLCS 2022-23 Winter Split after numerous tryouts and much consideration.

Moist Esports Situation

Even though the original Moist Esports lineup finished in the top two, rise still had his heart set on signing with Version1 in the UK. It was finally the end for the explosive combination of rise and Joyo, who placed first and second in three of the four RLCS LANs in 2022. It left Moist Esports searching in vain for a player of rise’s caliber.

Juicy, a French player that debuted during the Gamers8 2022 Europe Qualifiers, is now on the scene. Juicy performed under the juicers alongside Jovan #parka Richet, Léo #Forece Boulon, and Axel #Mawkzy Timone, achieving an outstanding 1.061 rating. Although he was unable to attend the Gamers8 2022 LAN, he was well-known in the European scene.

Along with qualifying for the last Regional Event of the RLCS 2021–22, this led to the Belgian esports group HEET purchasing his team. HEET was a team to watch heading into the RLCS 2022–23 Fall Split, but they eventually struggled to repeat their level of success, going 1-3 in Europe’s Fall Cup and Fall Invitational.

Endpoint CeX Reinforced

Endpoint has been playing Rocket League for a significant amount of time, and the years 2021–2022 were their most prosperous in the esport. They participated in every LAN, making them one of only Team BDS, G2 Esports, FaZe Clan, and FURIA in doing so, and they won two Regional Events in the fall. Enzo #Seikoo Grondein, who left the team after the Winter Split and went on to win the World Championship MVP and the Esports Awards Controller Rookie Of The Year with BDS, is primarily responsible for this success.

Despite Seikoo’s successor, Archie #Archie Pickthall, Endpoint’s roster was never able to match its previous success without the French rookie, and the group split following the 2021–22 World Championships.

Endpoint fielded a fresh lineup for this season that featured the aforementioned simas, double-tap inventor and former World Championship MVP David “Deevo” Morrow, and 16-year-old up-and-comer Shaun #Crispy Tafara Murindagomo. Endpoint appeared to have thought that their prior approach of adding a great, inexperienced young player to their squad would enable them thrive at the same level as they did in 2021–2022, however the team faltered in the Fall Split.

They had a fantastic start in the Fall Open Closed Qualifier, finishing 3-0 in Swiss, but they were unable to win any series in the Main Event, and their 0-3 record in Closed Qualifiers prevented them from qualifying for the Fall Cup at all.

With the signing of emre, Endpoint hopes to revitalize their lineup and climb the Main Event standings consistently for the rest of the season. Emre has switched between many rosters in the past, but the 18-year-old Turkish-German national still has plenty of opportunity to demonstrate his talent and assist a club that initially showed promise in moving into a top-16 roster.
