Overwatch 2 role queue explanation.
Want to know more Overwatch 2 roles? Blizzard made the decision to implement the role queue system from the beginning of Overwatch 2. Instead of players choosing any character at the start of each game and expecting them to form a cohesive team, the role-lock system ensures that each team has some sort of structure.
This modification has introduced a number of Overwatch 2 changes to various heroes, including some characters that are completely redefined as they switch to a new role. The current role structure on each team consists of two DPS, two support, and one tank. If you are new to the different roles in Overwatch 2, you may want to know how the roles work in this multiplayer game.
DPD
This Overwatch role is all about inflicting damage and scavenging for shards. Whether it’s using Ashe’s variety of weapons or blasting people to smithereens with Soldier 76’s assault rifle, your only job in this role is to find enemy players and eliminate them.
Just because you’re a fragmentation machine doesn’t mean you’re invincible: DPS players have plenty of offensive tools at their disposal, but defensively you may find yourself vulnerable to other enemy damage dealers, and even tanks and supports if so. you’re being reckless. You need the help of your team’s support and tank characters to make sure you don’t overcommit and get trapped.
DPS passive ability: Heroes get +25% movement speed and reload speed for 2.5 seconds after eliminating an enemy.
Support
Support characters are there to boost the team, either by offering healing or enhancement skills and survivability through other means. Mercy, for example, is the quintessential healer, while Brigitte has other support abilities that can stun or knock down enemy players, while upgrading allies with additional armor.
Whatever type of support you choose to offer, just know that you’re not there to kill. Support players are generally the worst duelists in the game, just stick to your main job and you’ll be fine.
Tank
With high health and survivability, tanks are there to protect players from the worst the opposing team has to offer, as well as disrupt enemy abilities and plans.
Standing your ground and using crowd control in Overwatch 2 is important, especially now that teams have to deal with having only one tank. Tank players should definitely keep in mind that their role in the team is more important than ever.
Overwatch 2 Role Queue.
If you are completely new to Overwatch 2, you may have to unlock the role queue mode beforehand. All you need to do is complete five Open Queue matches in Quick Play to gain access to the rest of the game modes in Overwatch 2.

As a man with a family history along with an personal history of mental problems i understand and take as much time as u need jayne as the saying goes the best shrink has a shrink. Doctor phil for sure has an amazing one and i hope u can. Find a place where u can come back and become the beacon of hope for those stuck in elo hell and for the overwatch community smh going quote som your the hero we need not the one we deserve and as a human being we cant run 100 % full speed all the time so focus on what u need to focus on and when comes to the league remember its sports like all sports people feel very very strongly about it im personally not surprised that people did send u death threats about something related to esports because if we look to other sports people have been killed over squabbles on just whos better and this coach is trash but at the end of the day there is a reason your there and that reason is because your damn good at your job and dont let anyone tell u otherwise because your a headstrong independent black women that diesnt need no man! ( and with that i currently hate my self)

You know. I worked with my team I play with in Comp (We are all high Diamond) and we all decided to look at metas for 2 2 2
I came up with what I like to call "The Trap" Meta. It features Reaper, Pharah, Zarya, Reinhardt, Ana, and Brig. So how this works is as follows.
The reaper focuses on flanks and killing the supports (obviuosly) while the pharah keeps them distracted up above. Mean while Zarya Keeps her bubbles mostly on The dps or the ana (heres why)
Zarya is the main componet to this because it gets her alot of charge when they try dealing with the flanking and flying dps. It also helps with reinhardt not being afraid to push forward.Ana keeps the dps alive and trys to sleep any shield tanks that are stopping the dps. Brig tops off any tanks that need the healing while also watching for flanks. Ults usally work with a brig stun then shatter along with pharah raining from above or reaper death blossom. This comp works amazing with just enough communication. Try it and enjoy 🙂
