The line-up of winners

The Ninjas in Pyjamas are known to have integrated numerous top players in their own clan. In Dubai, the team competed with the following Counter Strike pros:

REZ (Sweden)
Plopski (Sweden)
Es3Tag (Denmark)
Brollan (Sweden)
ZTR (Sweden)

Especially the nomination of ZTR was a little surprise. The Swede normally still plays for the Young Ninjas in the junior division and represented the actual game leader Hampus (Sweden) in Dubai. Coach in Dubai was the Dane Calc, who replaced the Counter Strike Head-Coach djL. Calc is not only a coach. He is also part of the management of the eSports Association.

As mentioned at the beginning, Ninjas in Pyjamas supporters had to wait a few years for a victory in a top event. The last time the clan had won the Intel Extreme Masters XII was in November 2017 in Oakland. In the same year, the Ninjas in Pyjamas still kept the upper hand at the DreamHack Open in Valencia.
