DOTA 2: THE BEST HEROES TO USE IN COMBINATION WITH URSA

Someone who runs Ursa? These are some of the best Dota 2 heroes for your lineup.

There aren't that many heroes in Dota 2 that are famous for being as explosive as Ursa. If we put aside Storm Spirit and Templar Assassin, this is one of the heroes that can easily run over the entire opposing team, as long as he gets off to a good start. This may sound easy because Ursa does a lot of damage, but in reality it can be difficult. Recovering is really hard once the hero shuts down because Ursa does not have fast farming capabilities.

Ursa is one of the most sensitive heroes when it comes to time. Not getting the right items in time can have devastating consequences because the hero will not be able to snowball. As mentioned above, she usually can't beat the opposing team's main heroes, which means she won't do much.

Since Ursa is a delicate heroine, she doesn't work well with all heroes in the game. That's one of the reasons why this article will point out some of the best heroes you should look for when choosing Ursa. Note that some of the future Dota 2 updates may include drastic changes that will be reflected in the heroes on this list.

SHADOW CHAMAN

Although Ursa is a versatile hero that can be played in the mid lane and safe lane, he usually assumes the role of a carrier. As a result, the hero has to play alongside support, which is where Shadow Shaman comes into play. Rhasta is a popular support hero in pubs because he has two spells that can keep enemies disabled. Also, the hero does a lot of right-click damage early on, which makes him good for harassing the enemy.

Of course, the reason why SS works well with Ursa is Hex and Shackle Shot. These two skills allow Ursa to attack freely for a couple of seconds and build up his Fury Swipes. Usually, when the two disables end, the enemy's attacker should be dead because Ursa deals a lot of physical damage.

Another thing to note about Shadow Shaman is that he is excellent at pushing towers. Thanks to his ultimate, T1 and T2 towers can be destroyed early on, which will give Ursa enough room to secure Roshan. Needless to say, this is one of the most important things for the hero to focus on because Aegis makes him much more dangerous than usual.

JAKIRO

The second hero on the list that makes a surprisingly good combination with Ursa is Jakiro. Despite being a popular choice among pub enthusiasts, professional players rarely choose this hero because there are other supports that do a better job. That said, Jakiro does an excellent job helping Ursa during the laning phase because he can harass, slow and even stun the offensive enemy.

Although the hero doesn't have as many disabling abilities as Shadow Shaman, his skill set is usually enough to help Ursa kill. That's one of the reasons why these two heroes are able to defeat even the strongest attackers in Dota 2.

WARLOCK

While we're on the topic of stuns, there is one hero in particular that can be an excellent choice with Ursa in a lane. Witch Doctor is one of the famous support heroes known for his damage capabilities. If he has the opportunity to channel his ultimate ability, he can deal a lot of damage to his opponents, especially during the mid game. However, what makes him work really well with Ursa is his stun and Maledict.

Stun gives the deadly bear enough time to build up fury hits. As for Maledict, this ability can deal a lot of damage to the target, especially after Ursa attacks him with Overpower. Even if the hero fails to kill his target, Maledict's damage should be enough to knock the target down.

WINTER WYVERN

All the heroes mentioned so far are great in combination with Ursa because they increase the hero's kill potential. However, there are scenarios where even heroes, like Ursa, need defensive support that can help them during the lane stage. This is where heroes like Winter Wyvern come into play.

WW can be offensive because the hero has two spells that deal damage. However, what can make him special is that he can heal his allies a lot and prevent them from taking physical damage. This may not seem that important, but it can work wonders in situations where Ursa is under pressure. Don't forget that the hero's ultimate reduces a lot of incoming damage, so when you combine it with the amazing Wyvern spell, it's easy to see why Ursa becomes so difficult to deal with.

I think this is awesome, I love that Ursa is now going to be a T1 hero instead of a troll pick or a thrown in at the end of drafts. In pubs who cares, weird shit happens there anyway. I think this pick is for the pro  players to now pick a true tank who can go head to head with Ember and Lycan. It's going to be almost impossible to ban all 3 every game now so a t1 carry will always be in the game.
