CSGO – Endpoint beats Viperio To Win Their 10th ESL Title

With a 3-2 victory over #Viperio, #Endpoint won the ESL Premiership for the tenth time and eighth time in a row. They also qualified for Conference 17 of the ESL Pro League.

The series was closer than many may have anticipated, with the first three maps all going to 29 rounds and the series itself going all five maps, even though Endpoint was playing with a stand-in in the form of Thomas #Thomas Utting. Before the game, there were more than 100 spots between the two teams in the global rankings.

Endpoint spent the majority of 2022 staying around the top 20, reaching their peak ranking of No. 24 in March with the current core. Shortly after that peak, Malhas #BOROS Mohammad left the roster. Since then, the team has undergone a number of changes, starting with the addition of Markus #Kjaerbye Kjaerbye, followed by the trade of Joey #CRUC1AL Steusel for Miosz #mhL Knasiak, and then the release of Kjaerbye and the addition of Nikita #HeavyGod Martynenko.

Despite Kjaerbye’s departure, the team has largely maintained a rating in or near the top 30, until lately falling into the top 50.

They have earned a spot in the ESL Pro League Season 17 Conference, where teams like Movistar Riders, Outsiders, and Imperial will be waiting. Endpoint defeated Natus Vincere 2-0 in a huge upset victory during that season to earn a spot in the ESL Pro League Season 16 and will attempt to accomplish the same feat once more.

When they played for Coalesce in 2021, the core of the Viperio team peaked briefly at No. 62 in the globe in the month that followed their departure from that organization at the start of 2022.

Since then, the team has solidified its position as one of the top teams in the UK scene by thrashing Into the Breach twice and winning regional championships at both the UKIC Beyond Summer Invitational and SteelSeries Nova Cup.
