Valorant – Team Sentinels Reinforced With “paNcada” and “Sacy” Ahead of VCT 2023

The current world champions of Valorant, Gustavo “Sacy” Rossi and Bryan “pANcada” Luna, have joined Sentinels’ lineup.

The renowned North American organization has almost finished retooling its squad for the VCT 2023 campaign. Rory “dephh” Jackson, the team’s in-game commander, is anticipated to join as the final player to complete the lineup, according to Dot Esports’ George Geddes.

Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan and Michael “dapr” Gulino, two of Sentinels’ founding members, were let go in order to create room for the newcomers. Now that they are unrestricted free agents, the two Masters Reykjavik 2021 champions are hoping to join a new team for 2019.

The 2023 VALORANT lineups for the Americas league’s debut season, which is a part of the new look partnered VCT ecosystem of 2023, are finally starting to come together.

The Road So Far

After a fantastic 2022 campaign with LOUD, Sacy and pANcada join Sentinels. The Brazilian powerhouse squad won the Challengers tournament throughout the whole year, advanced to the Masters Reykjavk championship game, and finished the year with a fitting triumph against OpTic in the Champions 2022 championship game.

The LOUD roster, after taking home the world championship, broke apart. The squad and company also severed ties with coach Matheus “bzkA” Tarasconi, which was a tremendous shock given that Sacy and pANcada had recently won a significant title. According to reports, the surviving trio of athletes, Felipe “Less” de Loyola, Matias “saadhak” Delipetro, and Erick “aspas” Santos, will continue to run it back in 2019.

The Sentinels’ roster is almost entirely complete with the addition of Sacy and pANcada. Under the direction of the Sentinels’ new and seasoned head coach Don “SyykoNT” Muir, they will be joined by superstar Tyson “TenZ” Ngo and freshly signed young rising talent Zachary “zekken” Patrone. Rory “Dephh” Jackson, the team’s in-game captain, will supposedly fill the roster, according to a previous report from Dot Esports.

Sentinels is also providing free delivery on all orders to Brazil for the week of October to honor the signings.

The Conclusion

This latest addition to Sentinels’ roster makes them contenders once again in a crowded North American competition. The depth they needed might finally be there, so it will be interesting to see if they click together and create the chemistry that will last them throughout the whole season, and possibly lead them all the way to the title.

If you are a Sentinels fan, these news are truly a reason to celebrate, but even if you’re not, you should be happy as this means that the matches in front of us will be filled with nothing but pure action.
