Rainbow 6 European League 2022 Stage 3 Clash of The Titans – MNM vs Team Rogue

MNM is in a fantastic position to pull off an upset and hinder Rogue’s title defense.

With five more games in week three, the EUL will have completed one-third of the stage. Anne “FastAnne” Janssen and Ollie “XRTROIKA” Hatton will join the desk, but Derry “Dezachu” Holt will be absent.

European League 2022: Stage 3 Week 3

Week three will begin with what appears to be the stage’s most lopsided matchup as first-placed Heroic takes on last-placed TT9. The ex-Empire team will try to score their first point, while Heroic will want to dominate their opponent and atone for a missed Berlin Major opportunity.

Heroic and BDS, who will also encounter Russian opposition, are equal for first place on the table in terms of points. The victory over MNM has significantly improved Outsiders’ position, but playing BDS will be a different animal because the Frenchmen will also be motivated to redeem themselves after a poor Stage 2.

Secret, who have defeated G2, BDS, Wolves, Heroic, and TT9 in their past seven games, and NAVI, who have already had two overtime victories this round, are two more teams looking to stake a claim.

The poor performance of G2 during this stage, which was reminiscent of Stage 2’s beginning, may have been the biggest surprise. With their new player and legendary player-turned-coach, they have had a rough start versus Heroic and Secret together. They then play Wolves, who are looking to avenge a sloppy loss to BDS last week.

Last but not least, MNM Gaming vs. Rogue will be the game of the week in Europe. Both of these teams participated in the Berlin Major, and they are now ranked fourth and sixth after having inconsistent Stage 3 performances.

A quick summary of what to anticipate in this encounter is as follows:

The only tier-one team to have an undefeated record against the core of this Rogue lineup is MNM Gaming.

  • Stage 1: Map – Kafe Dostoyevsky, 7-4 to MNM
  • Stage 2: Map – Chalet, 8-6 to MNM

The only time Rogue has triumphed over MNM was in the 2020 relegation match. On MNM and Rogue, respectively, Josh “Yuzus” Pritchard and Leon “LeonGids” Giddens were the only two players who shared this.

In their most recent encounter, which was one of the year’s most thrilling games, both Cryn and Yuzus finished with 20 kills. Three triple kills, two Kantoraketti clutches, and an ace were all part of the match, which SiegeGG dubbed the best play of the EUL stage.

This was Spoit’s first professional game and the beginning of Rogue’s Major-winning run because it was the second game of play day one in Stage 2 of the EUL.

It is apparent that Rogue at their best should win this clash given that MNM finished third in their group and finished last in the Six Major. They haven’t been playing at their best, though, as evidenced by their defeat to NAVI two weeks ago.
