Rainbow 6 – Big Roster Changes For Elevate & Parabellum

After just one stage, Gabriel #LaXInG Mirélez’s tenure as the Elevate coach has come to an end. Given that the SI qualifications are due to start in a few days, it’s possible that he has been signed by a NAL Team as a player once more.

Meanwhile, to fill the void left by Xavier #Eskaa Avoine and Connor #Azian Felux, #ParabellumEsports has signed Challenger League players Jaidan #Packer and George #SilentEndz Hernandez.

Elevate Trying To Rise

Before the competition began, everyone was aware of the American’s decision to leave Oxygen Esports after the Berlin Major and sign with Elevate as the APAC South team’s coach, a first for him in that capacity.

For many, it was a throwback move because the player had won the 2017 Xbox One Six Invitational with Elevate. His highest finish up until that point was second place in the PL Year 2 Season 2 Finals. He also represented the team on PC until the end of 2017.

LaXInG thereafter rose to prominence mostly for his work with Counter Logic Gaming, Cloud9, Team Reciprocity, and Oxygen Esports.

After the Berlin Major was over, he went back to Elevate to lead the Thai team in the third APAC South split.

His time at Elevate was anything but easy, though. The Thai team was on the verge of missing out on SI 2023 through the Global Standings after placing eighth at the Berlin Major because it only finished fourth in APAC South in Stage 3.

According to his Tweet following the announcement, LaXInG now intends to resume his playing career in North America.

Parabellum Making Changes

Parabellum previously competed at SI 2021 and earned promotion to the North American League for 2022; this move resulted from Parabellum finishing the final three stages in seventh, sixth, and ninth position.

Prior to 2022, Packer participated in all three Challenger League stages, winning both Stage 3 and the NACL Finals.

In the meantime, SilentEndz won NACL Stage 1 and placed second in Stages 2 and 3. With the best opening record on Zofia and Jager, he was also the best-rated player throughout Stage 3.

Prior to the Six Invitational qualifier in December, these players will make their SCS league debut in Season 7.
