We take a look at some of the most expensive cosmetic items for Pudge and what makes them so expensive.

Dota 2 is one of the MOBA games preferred by millions of gamers around the world. Most of them like the game because of its high skill cap and the fact that it has been around forever. However, others are fans of Dota 2 mainly because it offers tons of cosmetic items.

Although Valve doesn’t use the word “skins” to describe them, this is a common term in the gaming community because these items have no in-game benefit. They just change the visual appearance of a given hero/object/skill, making it more interesting to look at.

Like CSGO, Dota 2 offers many unique cosmetic items for some of the most popular heroes. These items are divided into different groups based on their rarity. For example, arcana are among the most sought-after and rare items you can get, while “rare” sets are easier to get.

Speaking of Aranas and other items, Pudge is one of the few heroes in the game who has access to all sorts of things. He’s also the most popular hero in the game, so it’s time to look at some of the most expensive items you can get for him.

ABCESSION PARTY PACKAGE

The first item we’d like to include on the list is the infamous Pudge Arcana. Although it took Valve a while to release it, this item quickly became very popular. This should come as no surprise because Pudge is one of the most famous heroes in the game.

Unlike other arcana, you can actually buy this one. Interested people have to spend 32.99 EUR, which is a lot of money for an in-game item. However, the advantages are definitely worth it because this Arcana makes Pudge even more special.

In addition to changing the hero’s skill icon, it also changes part of his animation, such as his ultimate. As expected, the Arcana also affects his model, sound, icon and animation.

CHAINS OF THE BLACK PLAGUE

Pudge is one of the few heroes in Dota 2 that will give you access to tons of outfits. There are all sorts of things to choose from, and they all look cool. However, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so something that looks interesting to us doesn’t mean it’s right for you.

All old-school Dota 2 players know that Dragonclaw Hook is one of the most expensive items in the game. Even though it was introduced many years ago, this is one of the rarest and most sought after items in the game. Therefore, people often have to pay a lot of money to get their hands on it.

The standard versions of the item are expensive, but the ones with an autograph cost even more. Thus, the autographed Dragonclaw hook often fetches around $195 USD. This is a lot of money, especially for an item that doesn’t change that many things. For example, it doesn’t change the Pudge model.

CURSED CHAINED ASSASSIN SET

If you are looking for an interesting set that your friends won’t have, you can take a look at the Cursed Chained Assassins Set. Some people don’t like this option because it doesn’t look that special. However, it is one of the rarest items in the set, which explains why you will rarely find more than a few options on the community market.

The bad news is that people who want to get it must be willing to spend a lot because it usually costs $340 and up. That said, some people might be able to sell it cheaper, so keep an eye on the vapor market for more information.

Some of you may be surprised that there is a Pudge hook that is more expensive than the Dragonclaw hook, but the Frozen Meat Dagger takes the crown, at least for now. As of this writing, this item costs about $759, which is about 4 times the price of the item mentioned above.
