fnatic travel to Finland after their shockingly successful performance at the IEM Rio Major. The group led by William #mezii Merriman exceeded all expectations while in Brazil, as they competed in the Valve-sponsored tournament all the way to the playoffs.

Once in the Jeunesse Arena, fnatic found it difficult to maintain this good form, and their run in the IEM Rio Champions Stage came to an abrupt end as they were defeated by the tournament’s winning team, Outsiders, in the quarterfinals.

In order to complete the year on a strong note, fnatic will be devastated by the loss of KRIMZ at Elisa Masters Espoo. The Swedish player averaged a 1.05 rating during his team’s Legends Stage campaign, placing him second only to mezii and tied with Dion #FASHR Derksen (1.07).

Peppzor, an academy player, has been recruited by fnatic to fill the hole. He has already made the transition up to the main team on two different times, so he is no stranger to doing so. The first time was when the rifler joined fnatic in April 2021 as their sixth man. He stayed with the team for three months before returning to the developing lineup.

In his most recent appearance with Mezii and Company, he filled in for Ludvig #Brolan Brolin, who was in the middle of filming the hit movie Ninjas in Pyjamas at the time, for another three-month term.

For the Elisa Masters Espoo, fnatic has been seeded into Group B and is considered one of the favorites to win the trophy and the $100,000 top prize. On Thursday, November 17, at 11:30, the international roster will face off against “Team 500” to open their season.
