A cooperation that began in May 2021 with the signing of EPG Family has come to an end as Dmitry #hooch Bogdanov and Team Entropiq have parted ways.
Meanwhile, #Esports media has been buzzing that Grzegorz #SZPERO Dziamaek, an accomplished in-game commander, has joined team Anonymo. When Oskar #oskarish Stenborowski leaves the squad in late 2022, the 31-year-old will take over as captain and fill the vacancy.
The Entropiq Situation
The 35-year-old coach brought Aleksei #NickelBack Trofimov's team to a high of No. 9 in the world rankings by coaching them to second-place finishes in the ESEA Premier Season 39 Europe and Funspark ULTI 2021 tournaments, wins in the Pinnacle Fall Series 2 and CCT North Europe Series 1, and a 9th to 11th-place finish at the PGL Major Stockholm 2021.
However, performance dropped off quickly after that, and in October 2022, Entropiq put the entire roster on the transfer list. Two of the main causes of the decision were identified as being unsuccessful qualification attempts for the PGL Major Antwerp and the IEM Rio Major, as well as challenges in achieving business objectives related to the Russian roster in the wake of the conflict in Ukraine.
One month later, five players on the roster—including their analyst—became unrestricted free agents. Hooch and Igor #Forester Bezotecheskiy both had contracts that expired at the end of 2022; the former is now a free agent and the latter is still a part of the Czech league.
Hooch may be associated with Kirill #Boombl4 Mikhailov's suspected new project, according to a recent interview with Andrey #Jerry Mekhryakov, although additional details are still lacking.
Anonymo Moving Forward
The 31-year-old worked for 9INE until December, when the Swedish company let his contract expire following a four-month association during which he had difficulty functioning as an IGL-AWPer hybrid.
Despite only having a 0.99 rating on average throughout his brief time with 9INE, SZPERO was able to lead the Polish team to victory in the ESL Challenger League S42 Europe, earning them $20,000 and a ticket in the ESL Pro League Season 17 Conference Europe.
Following ECL S42, 9INE was unable to maintain their momentum and finished 20th to 22nd in CCT North Europe Series 1, with further unsatisfactory results at CCT Central Europe Series 3 and CCT North Europe Series 2.
After a disappointing finish to 2022 that saw them fall to the 20-22nd place in CCT North Europe Series 2 and the 13-16th place in ESEA Advanced Season 43 Europe at the hands of Into the Breach, Anonymo will try to start over with their new captain. Former IGL oskarish opted not to renew his contract with Anonymo after they left Advanced, and he left the company before the new year.
