CSGO – Everything You Need To Know as Blast Premier Fall Approaches

On November 23, the #BLASTPremierFallFinal will begin. Here is all the information you need to follow the first major competition following #IEMRio.

The status quo-altering IEM Rio Major has come to an end, as #Outsiders have emerged victorious after surprising everyone else and winning the prized title.

What can we expect?

Many of the same players that tried their luck at the Major in the first half of November are set to return for another chance to win prizes in the BLAST Premier Fall Final, which will be held from November 23–27, one week after the Brazilian competition.

Heroic, the host team, enters the Copenhagen Major with momentum after making it to the grand final of the IEM Rio Major and moving up to No. 2 in the HLTV World Ranking to become the highest-ranked team in the BLAST Premier Fall Final.

Following their unexpected winless exit from the Legends Stage just two weeks ago, FaZe enter the competition with the most to prove and the opportunity to redeem themselves. Having finished in fifth through eighth and ninth through eleventh place, respectively, in Brazil, Natus Vincere and Liquid, who had also been among the teams with a chance to win the championship there, will also look to the Danish competition for redemption.

OG and Ninjas in Pyjamas, who were both members of Group A in Copenhagen, failed to live up to expectations in Rio. After a final-round matchup versus Vitality, Nemanja #nexa Isakovi’s side narrowly missed out on a spot in the Legends Stage, while Ninjas in Pyjamas went 0-3 in the second Swiss round.

The Newcomers

The only two teams present are in Group B and did not compete at the Major. One of them is G2, who will try to show that their failure to go to Rio was just an isolated misstep, and the other is Fluxo, who are by far the lowest-ranked and least-experienced team entering the Fall Final.

The teams for the BLAST Premier Fall Final are as follows. The matches will take place in a condensed double-elimination format, with the victorious team guaranteed a position in the semi-finals and the second- and third-placed teams guaranteed a spot in the quarter-finals.

Group A Group B
FaZe Natus Vincere
Heroic Liquid
Ninjas in Pyjamas G2
OG Fluxo

The competition will take place over the course of five days, beginning on Wednesday and continuing through the quarterfinals on Friday in a studio setting before moving to the Royal Arena for the semifinals and championship match on the weekend.
