The Esports World Cup Foundation has published its country lineups for the inaugural Esports Nations Cup, and the Rocket League section is one of the widest fields on the entire programme. Forty-six of the 48 slots already carry named rosters, with the remaining two held back for solidarity places that have yet to be confirmed.
ENC 2026 runs from Nov. 2 to Nov. 29 in Riyadh and covers 16 titles, each with more than 20 participating countries. The format flips the usual logic of the circuit: players line up for nations rather than organisations, which means the club-level form guide most bettors rely on only partly applies.
France look like the team to beat
The roster that immediately stands out is France, who bring Vatira, zen, juicy and ExoTiiK. On paper that is close to a European all-star selection, and it hands the staff a problem most nations would happily take: deciding which of four high-ceiling players sits out.
The United States answer with Atomic, Daniel, Firstkiller and Chronic, while Great Britain field Archie, Joyo, ApparentlyJack and Toxiic. The Netherlands look similarly dangerous with Joreuz, oaly., nass and justuszzz. Add Spain (AtomiK, crr, stizzy, LuiisP), Brazil (swiftt., yANXNZ, kv1, Sad) and host nation Saudi Arabia (Rw9, trk511, Kiileerrz, Nwpo), and there are realistically six or seven sides with a route to the podium.
Germany’s Catalysm, Tox, Rezears and dayyshift sit a tier below that group but have the individual ceiling to cause problems in a short series.
Why the outright market is awkward
National-team events are notoriously hard to price. Squads assemble with limited scrim time, established duo synergies get broken up, and one unkind bracket draw can end a favourite’s run in a single series. Anyone shopping around esports bookmakers for early ENC prices should expect wide margins until the bracket and match format are published. Three-minute Rocket League games already carry heavy variance, and a best-of-five amplifies it.
The depth of the field cuts both ways. Alongside the traditional powers, ENC hands debut slots to nations such as the Maldives, Libya, Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago and Puerto Rico. Outright markets will be top-heavy, but early-round handicaps and map totals involving those sides are exactly where opening lines tend to be softest.
What still needs confirming
The published lists are clearly a work in progress. Two Rocket League slots remain open, several rosters across other titles are marked TBD, and at least one entry appears to repeat another nation’s players, a reminder that these are provisional squads rather than locked lineups. Other titles are equally unsettled: the Rainbow Six Siege field lists 23 named nations and one blank, while Mobile Legends still shows 16 unfilled places.
For Rocket League specifically, the useful window is the next three months. Club-level roster moves between now and November will reshape who is available, who is match-fit and which national duos actually get to play together. Prices published before those transfers settle are the ones most likely to look wrong in hindsight.
