Esports Nations Cup 2026 has filled in most of its entry lists, and the EA FC 2026 field is the one that changes how the whole event should be handicapped. The confirmed line-up runs to 128 slots — 121 named players plus seven still open, including the solidarity places the Esports World Cup Foundation is holding back for every title. Only chess matches that size.
The tournament runs from Nov. 2 to Nov. 29 in Riyadh across 16 titles. What makes it unusual is the unit of competition: players represent countries rather than organisations, so the entry list reads like a set of national federation call-ups instead of a circuit standings table. For the EA FC betting scene, that alone reshuffles the usual reference points.
Who is already locked in
The top of the list is familiar to anyone who followed the last few EA FC seasons. Denmark’s Vejrgang, Argentina’s nicolas99fc, Great Britain’s Tekkz, the Netherlands’ Emre Yilmaz, Romania’s RvPLegend and Germany’s Levyfinn are all confirmed, alongside Italy’s Bonnano, Portugal’s Jafonso, Spain’s Neat and Saudi Arabia’s AbuMakkah.
Below that tier the field widens dramatically. Several countries hold two entries — Germany also brings Umut, Denmark adds AndersJuul8, Poland has Beast74 and gaca_41, Brazil pairs Paulo Neto with GugaFerraz — while federations that almost never appear on a major EA FC stage have a single representative each, Djibouti, Yemen, Timor-Leste, Somalia and the DR Congo among them.
Why the bracket size matters for the odds
A 128-player one-versus-one bracket is close to the least predictable format in competitive gaming. EA FC matches are short and decided by a handful of chances, and a deflection at the wrong moment ends a run outright. There is no best-of-five safety net for a favourite who starts badly, and stretched over seven rounds of elimination even the strongest name in the field carries a real chance of going out early. Outright prices on Vejrgang or Tekkz will look tempting in November; the maths underneath them is harsher than the reputations suggest.
The depth gap cuts the other way in the opening round.
