Natus Vincere’s autumn has hit a new low. On Thursday, September 18, the Ukrainian organisation was eliminated from StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 in Barcelona after a 1-2 defeat to MOUZ in the lower-bracket elimination match, finishing dead last in the eight-team, $500,000 event. It was NAVI’s second loss in two days following a 0-2 opening defeat to Aurora, and it drops one of the biggest names in competitive Counter-Strike to 15th in the live Valve Regional Standings – the lowest position the team has ever held since the ranking was introduced.
How the elimination match unfolded
NAVI surprised everyone by opening on Cache, a map they had not played since it returned to the competitive pool. MOUZ answered on Inferno. A 7-0 start on the T side set the tone before NAVI strung together four rounds to stay in touch, and b1t’s 1v2 clutch early in the second half briefly swung momentum back. It was not enough: MOUZ’s defence held firm for a 13-10 win that forced a decider on Mirage, where the European side raced to a 10-2 lead and shut the door on NAVI’s comeback with a decisive A execute in round 21 for a 13-8 finish.
The numbers tell an uncomfortable story for NAVI. w0nderful was the best player in the series with a 58-44 scoreline and a 1.41 rating, and b1t was solid throughout, but slow starts on all three maps repeatedly left the team chasing. Aurora, meanwhile, followed their demolition of NAVI with a clean 2-0 over NRG, extending an impressive week for the Turkish-Finnish project under coach ash. They meet Vitality on Saturday at 17:00 CEST for a spot in the grand final. Earlier in the day, MOUZ face FURIA in the lower bracket at 14:30 CEST, and NRG – who upset MOUZ 2-1 on day one and jumped 18 places to 33rd in the VRS – take on MIBR.
