The VCT 2026 EMEA Stage 2 Play-Ins were meant to be a routine checkpoint for the region’s partnered teams. Four days into the bracket at the Olimpic Arena in Badalona, that script has been torn up: the two sides promoted out of Challengers are unbeaten and one win from the playoffs, while six of EMEA’s eight partnered teams are a single series away from elimination.
Enterprise and Fire Flux have not dropped a series
Enterprise Esports and Fire Flux Esports qualified as the top two finishers from VCL 2026 EMEA Stage 3, and neither has looked out of place. Enterprise opened by knocking FNATIC out of the upper bracket 2-1 on Aug 7, then swept Gentle Mates 2-0 on Aug 9 without conceding a map. Fire Flux, the roster that competed as REBORN until a rebrand earlier this month, beat PCIFIC Esports 2-0 before edging Team Heretics 2-1.
That leaves FUT Esports and Eternal Fire as the only VCT partner teams still in the upper half of the bracket. FUT handled GIANTX 2-0, while Eternal Fire needed three maps to get past Joblife. For a Valorant betting region that has spent two years being priced largely on brand names, that is a loud signal.
How the bracket resolves
The Play-Ins hand out four Stage 2 playoff berths in total. Both upper semifinals on Aug 15 – FUT Esports against Eternal Fire, and Fire Flux against Enterprise – are straight qualification matches. The losers drop to Aug 16, where the last two slots are settled.

Stage 2 carries a 250,000 US dollar prize pool and runs to Aug 30, with the playoffs starting Aug 20. Champions 2026 follows on Sep 24, so there is very little runway left for any EMEA roster that still needs to fix its form before the season’s biggest event.
What it means for the odds
Challengers graduates are the hardest teams in EMEA to price. They arrive with a full season of results that most models weight lightly, and the market tends to anchor on franchise status instead. Enterprise and Fire Flux have now punished that twice each. Roster churn is the other complication.
