CSGO – Everything You Need To Know About Upcoming ESL Challenger Rotterdam

On October 14, the $100,000 prize pool for the ESL Challenger Rotterdam will begin with eight teams fighting in two GSL groups. There will be a large crowd present for the event, which will take place in the Rotterdam Ahoy Stadium in the Netherlands.

The ESL Challenger competition features a range of squads attempting to qualify for ESL Conference Season 17, including squads making their first international appearance and squads that just qualified for the IEM Rio Major.

ESL Challenger Rotterdam Format

Four top twenty teams will compete in the tournament, and for ENCE, MOUZ, and Outsiders, it will be a chance to put their skills to the test ahead of the next Major in Rio. After failing to advance through their respective RMRs, Eternal Fire and TeamOne now have the opportunity to demonstrate that they are serious competitors.

After failing to qualify for the IEM Rio Major, Eternal Fire cut ties with their in-game commander Engin “MAJ3R” Küpeli. They have not regularly produced strong performances. With Yasin “xfl0ud” Koç returning in the starting five, the Turkish squad will attempt to rebound from recent poor results.

As the lowest-ranked squad in the competition, Nixuh travel to the Netherlands with the fewest hopes. Robby “blackpoisoN” Da Loca and Aran “Sonic” Groesbeek, two well-known players on the South African team, will have the uncommon opportunity to represent their nation in a tournament of this stature with a full South African five.

Even though they are in the same group as the No. 15 team in the world, Movistar Riders, one of the largest teams in attendance, ENCE, recently qualified for the Major’s Legends Stage. If both teams advanced to the playoffs, Alvaro “SunPayus” Garcia may meet his previous team.
