The Northern Premier League (NPL) finals for Rainbow Six Siege will be held at the University of York this month, according to an announcement from Ubisoft.

The event won’t have any spectators present, but it will be live-streamed on Twitch NPL from 11 a.m. BST each day on September 24 (semi-finals) and 25, 2022. (grand finals).

The Finals Schedule

Heroic, Viperio 86, Victus (who placed third in a recent Gamers Without Borders competition), and Tenstar are the four finalist teams. Against Saturday, Tenstar will take on Viperio 86 at 12.30 p.m. and Heroic will play Victus at 11 a.m. Tenstar Ken claimed that after Tenstar objected, they were altered from being best-of-ones to being best-of-threes. Then, the best-of-three semifinal matches for the lower and upper brackets will be played.

The Sunday following will then feature the lower bracket final and the overall championship.

This year’s Northern Premier League in Siege was initially announced. It is a multi-regional local league with participants from the Nordic, UK, and Ireland.

The Talent Involved

At the finals, broadcast talent will include UK performers Demo, XRTROIKA, Dean0, and GraceV, as well as Nordic performers Snurreleif and Ub3ros.

Croatian player Med1cz will be demonstrating the moves during the games, and UK commentator Gerry and Dutch broadcaster Giniro will be entertaining the viewers from behind the desk. Their in-game veteran experience, combined with their storyteling skills will ensure that we have very detailed and exciting commentary while following the matches.

Show me the money – How big is the prize pool?

The numbers may not look impressive at first sight, but considering there is plenty of room for Rainbow 6’s growth in the future, things will definitely get better as the game gets more traction.

According to the prize money, the winning team will receive €7,500, followed by €5,500 for second place, €3,500 for third, and €2,500 for fourth.

The announcement follows the announcement of the Rainbow Six Siege Northern Premier League playoff teams, with Heroic taking first place in the regular season.

Tenstar and Viperio, two other UK esports organizations, have already already qualified for the more competitive 2022 European Challenger League.

And a few months ago, Ubisoft revealed the schedule for the upcoming season of the UK Ireland Nationals (UKIN) in Rainbow Six Siege, which is used as a trial run for teams from the UK and Ireland to qualify for the NPL.
